RED editor, authors have Michigan connections
Michigan native Amy Goldwasser went looking for a new challenge, in collecting essays from teen-aged girls. One e-mail, sent out to a group of friends, spun its way into more than 800 essays, 58 of which ended up in RED: The Next Generation of American Writers -- Teenage Girls -- On What Fires Up their Lives Today. Three of the authors, two of them twin sisters, are also from Michigan. Read our review or read our interview with Amy.
